You've sung them in the shower. You've danced to
them in ballrooms. You've heard them on the radio,
in the supermarket and in elevators as well. They
are the best songs of the twentieth century and have
become the soundtracks to our lives. The cast of
talented performers brings to the stage the most
thrilling blend of Rodgers and Hammerstein's music
ever assembled in one show, including: There Is
Nothing Like A Dame, Surrey With The Fringe On Top,
Oklahoma, Shall We Dance, Younger Than Springtime,
and of course Some Enchanted Evening.

ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST |
 |
Director: Jeff Laird
January 12, 13, 19, 20*, 20, 26, 27, 2007
This
timeless tale attempts to answer the question, "Who
is running the asylum?" Based on the classic modern
American novel, Ken Kesey's hero, Randall P.
McMurphy gets himself admitted to a state mental
institution to avoid a jail sentence. The defiance
that starts out as sport soon develops into a grim
struggle and all out war with Nurse Ratched. Psyches
and lives are the cannon fodder when these two
relentless opponents engage in battle. Winner of the
2001 Tony Award and Outer Critics Circle Award, the
play has been described as captivating, scarifying
and powerful. It truly is one of the finest and most
moving plays of recent times. |

DON'T HUG ME |
 |
Director: Jerry McMillan
May
4, 5, 11, 12*, 12, 18, 19, 2007
It's
"Fargo" meets "The Music Man",
without the blood or trombones. It all takes place
in Bunyan Bay, Minnesota. It's the coldest day of
the year and cantankerous bar owner, Gunner Johnson,
wants to sell the business and move to Florida.
Clara, his wife and former Winter carnival Bunyan
Queen, wants to stay. Bernice Lundstrom, the pretty
waitress, wants to pursue a singing career. Her
fiance', Kanute Gunderson, wants her to stay at
home. It's a battle of wills, and when a fast
talking salesman promises to bring romance into
their lives through the 'magic' of karaoke, all heck
breaks loose. |
